The Federal Society and the Second Amendment

The Federal Society has an annotated bibliography of conservative and libertarian legal scholarship. The book discusses how Justice Thomas's concurrence in Prince versus United States basically floated the idea that the Second Amendment might protect an individual right to own firearms. When justices would cite a certain piece when Citizens United, sure enough, there it was in the Federal Society's annotated bibliography on the First Amendment. Leonard Leo is brought in because there's an acknowledgement that yes, ideas have consequences, but only if those ideas are connected to networks of influential people who have access to or are policymakers.
