The line, I'm going to shoot poor Thelma just to see her jump and fall, hit Cash hard. Some Phillips didn't think that was suitable as the B side to Hay Porter so they eventually went for a sad song titled Cry Cry Cry. Folsom Fizz & Blues was put aside as a future possibility. When the contract was drawn up, the only person who was actually signed to Sun was Cash. But while only Cash was signed to the label, they split the money more or less equitably in a 40-30-30 split.
