If you're short on sleep and you need a boost in your perform then smart use of napping can be really helpful. And also, it can, frankly, be life saving. So i think using napping in an intelligent way is definitely a good thing. But with that said, i just want to add one more nuance, which is that if somebody's really struggling with their sleep, let's say they have insomnia. There are different types insomnia. acute insomnia tends to happen in response to some sort of stressful life event. chronic insomnia entails both daytime disfunction as well as night-time problems.
