Active Targeting for Non-Viral Delivery Systems

The chemistry of the surface, which is everything, every type of ingredient inside of these nanoparticles will play some kind of role in the process. We also have to understand how to get into that tissue and close to those cells in the first place. It's not clear that active targeting is what would actually facilitate that process.
