The Future of Australian Politics

The last time the parliament was expanded in 1984 under the Hawke government, the Australian population has increased by 10 million people. But on the other hand, the community is not all that welcoming to increasing the number of politicians. I think there's a discussion to be had about all of those issues. We're going to be focused on the 15 or so recommendations in the Jaskin report. Should there be exceptions for fundraising bodies like Climate 200 to collect small donations and then pass through bigger donations to candidates? Isn't that a legitimate way for ordinary Australians to participate in the process?
