Jeffrey d. Shawl has been studying the neural and computational decision mechanisms that guide control and monitor behavior. His research centers around making decisions with sacotic eye movements in non human primates. We talk about two of those principles to day, called linking propositions and strong inference. And we also discuss how the game may or may not have changed over the years as we can record more and more nurons simultaneously.
