Aquinas' Distinction Between Essence and Existence

For Aquinas, there are two basic kinds of beings. We have substances and accidents. Substances are roughly what we might be inclined to call things. Accidents are about features or attributes or properties of things. It will give us a chance to catch a glimpse of the distinction between essence and existence.
