This was one where I thought it would be on somebody's list, but I just put it online. One of my favorite analogies that Steve Pinkerbar from the movie was was this idea of pre commitment and the doomsday machine. There is something just so nice about like this little game theoretic problem that is solved by an atomic bomb being automatically launched whenever you you see an attack coming.
