The Complexity of Man
Aristotle says man is the most baffling object in nature. We are supposed to be social beings, but simultaneously we have an enormous difficulty relating to other people. The greatest abyss which creates in existing metaphysics is a difference between creature and creator. And we are creatures. All of us, angels down to a worm. But we are neither nor. We are not an angel and we are not a chimpanzee. We have a body and we have a soul.
