Ai Safety and Machine Learning Ethics - A Review
In 20 16, i saw these two communities really colliding. The questions of long term ai safety and kind of present day big data ethics were increasingly part of, i thought, a shared research egenda. And so it felt to me like there was the beginning of a new chapter in that story - not about reasons to be concerned, but what we were actually doing. It's been interesting to me seeing the data science community receive this book.
