What Did Robert E. Lee Do in the Eggnog Riot?

Jefferson Davis instigated the eggnog riot at West Point in 1826. He slipped and fell 60 feet down a ravine while trying to sneak back into campus. Lee was there, but he did not participate in the riot. The two men were on the same side of the Civil War, but not the Eggnog Riot.
