The NHS and the Nursing Crisis
NHS has 50,000 vacancies in England alone and 12,000 vacant medical posts. If this was a business, the shutters would have been brought down years ago. We've had a terrible attitude towards long-term planning when it comes to the NHS workforce. It's unethical for us to have continued to take so many people from overseas. And we spent too long as there's a country relying on other health systems to supply health workers.
