Vallejo: Congress has the responsibility and ability to limit direct campaign contributions in order to stop corruption where a donor bribes a congressman. He says if I'm not allowed to give a candidate $10,000 directly because there's a risk of quid pro quo corruption, how is it I'm allowed to give his super PAC $10 billion directly? Vallejo: If you ask the ordinary person on the street, do you think that there's a chance that there was some kind of understanding with the candidate? Most ordinary people would say "hell yeah"
