The Importance of Knowing Your Tribe
In the prophecy Isaiah, it says that Jesus was oppressed. What does that mean? Does that mean because he was Jewish or what they're talking about is what the state and the people of God did to him in exacting this massive injustice on him. I'm just saying that in evangelical political spaces and conservative political spaces, if it's not enough that God knows, but it's also important that my tribe knows that it may be my tribe who was my audience and not God.
