The Resilient Properties of Language

Each one of these children is by themselves in a sense because it's a day in a sea of hearing people. So it's not really a shared language and one might imagine that it would take longer to develop. But basically the steps that the kids followed were the same as each other. And whether or not we hear, I think we need to have people around to bother to communicate.
