Cinema's Choice to Stay an Independent
Cinema has technically left the Democratic Party. She still caucuses with them, even though she doesn't go to the meetings anymore. But on most issues, she's right down the line liberal. The interesting thing would be is whether cinema now has more appeal to Republicans than she does. I think her being part of a three-way race gives the Republicans the best chance to pick up that seat in 2024.
