The Revolt of the King of Morocco
The revolt began on Saturday afternoon just as a party to celebrate the king's 42nd birthday was in full swing at his summer palace of Skirat. Just after lunch a convoy of about 40 lures arrived carrying about 800 soldiers, mostly army cadets. The coup failed, the officers, the key officers were killed and Ufqir and the king were left momentarily in charge of the situation again. Now the question being asked here is whether the king will ever get those powers back for himself again.
