The Importance of Persona in Pastoral Life
The final temptation is creating persona. People look to us and I think a lot of pastors experience a lot of pressure to show up in a particular way as a leader in the church. And they find that they're kind of performing a role for other people to kind of hold things together. Over time, there's this gap between their persona and their private and interior life.
