Religious identity, diversity should be at the centre of our national conversation. I'm curious why it's not. All these things are run by religious communities for those two reasons alone. One of the things i read about meening to build is, imagine if every institution founded by a faith community disappeared overnight. What would be left in your city in the morning? There is a whole bunch of priest schools and hospitals and universities that would be yncas. Places where a a groups meet would be gone. Probably half of your social services would begone. So why wouldn't we kind of elevate the american story of co operation between different fates?
