The Importance of Inscription in Teaching

Inscription is the way that pieces of literature write us into them. In Deuteronomy, Moses in that book is clearly writing this second generation into the events at Sinai. He's basically making every parent into a little Moses writing their children into the story. And so inscription, I think, is functioning in multiple levels there in the book.
