How to Prevent Childhood From Ending Me

She's trying to return to a version of her father who resided in her very young childhood when he was the son and the moon to her. In some way, she is not able to get past childhood, you might say. She's gone back and living it out, including taking on the onus of what happened by sabotaging herself. Well, that's it. I mean, so she asked this question that's impossible for us to answer really. How do I prevent this from ending me?
