The Huguenot Genocide
The killings are planned for the early morning on St. Bartholomew's Day, August 25. They're to be carried out by the king's royal bodyguards and geez troops. Henry of Navarre had woken up early, couldn't sleep, decides to play a little game of tennis with his friends while he waits for Charles to wake up. But Navarre is locked up with his cousin, the Prince of Condé, for safety. These two are not going to be killed in this massacre of Protestants.
