There's a guy named Tyler Van der Ville, who's a professor at Harvard School of Public Health just down the street from me here. He runs the Center for Human Flourishing at Harvard. His particular research focus is on the mental and physical health benefits of religious participation. People live longer if they go to church every week; women are five times less likely to kill themselves than people who never went.
