How to Build a High Impact PMO

Stakeholder engagement is relationship building. You don't just engage stakeholders when you're doing your initial interviews to figure out what your PMO should do. Don't get caught up in thinking that you must talk to every person possible to assess all their pain points and go on a nine month journey of having conversations without producing any value. Keep it short, clear, focused and on the most important conversations first. And then you continue to have other conversations for more inputs for other things you'll need to fix in coming cycles.
