Louis said that he had thought that he had mentally prepared himself for a break but it actually still really hit him hard. He's sitting there thinking I should strike while the iron's hot but also I'm tired. Louis was actually set to perform in the X Factor just days after and he did actually go through with the performance dedicating his first solo song to her. In December 2016 Louis mum passed away very sadly from leukemia. The drama specifically the drama between Zayn and the rest of the band didn't end when One Direction went their separate ways either. Perhaps the most pertinent example of this is between Louis and Zayn who just cannot see eye to eye.
