The Dream of a Pro Battleship Tournament

The dream starts off with me watching some kind of pro battleship tournament. The final competitor cheated in some way, sabotaged the kid's board so that it doesn't work properly. So he has a Eureka moment and runs off to get his old, and this is in quotes, prototype board as a backup. This board has a move programmed into it that'll let him win. Not only that, but when I focused on the kid, he now looked like an older man. Like that dude from Dear Evan Hansen who looks like he's about 36 years old when he's in high school somehow.
