The Importance of Grimoire in the Cunning Folk Tradition
Grimoire is often overlooked when they enter into the cunning folk traditions. I think there's an understanding of like a new one thing of what folk magic is, right? Often, well at his most cartoonish folk magic is seen as low and as ill-educated compared to high ceremonial magic. This hangover of the idea that all grimoire like require like 80 dudes with silly hats is something I still encounter too.
