What Is Coherence in Associative Memory?

The way a social memory works is that it produces an interpretation of the world that is coherent. There are really two very different kinds of coherence: logical and associative. The relevant concept for associative memory is fit rather than logic. A lot of thinking and emotional reactions are governed by this kind of association in ways that are difficult to control.
