Isaiah's Vision of the Lord
Isaiah's vision is dated to the year of King Yuziah's death. The Lord was enthroned upon the cherubim, with the ark of the covenant being like his footstool. Human kings will fall, but the throne of the Lord endures. Judah's sovereignty is about to collapse, but God's is unrivaled and over all.
