Erlang has a just in time compiler. Even though it is technically an interpreted or a virtual machine, on the fly, compiles parts of your code to actually machine executable code. Unfortunately, we haven't gotte it to work with erling just yet. But hopefulle will soon have lik full support for derling bmas.
