Is My Thesis Completely Wrong?

Soso: Our world is falling apart right now at the story telling level. The human story has been written and rewritten several times in the past. We need a new story that can bring sufficiently large number of humans together to solve issues like climate change, nuclear proliferation or species extinction. And i say that many years ago, I used to think that could be potential transhumanism. But then when i got to the name 'transhumanist', it's not a different story. It's rehashing the same old human story - which is why i was kind of ostracized from the transhumanist community.
