Design for Safety is about interpersonal safety, especially in the context of domestic violence. There's also some other contexts like child abuse, elder abuse and things like roommates or employees. Any situation where there's an interpersonal relationship that one person can kind of enact power over the other is a place where there's a possibility for abuse and safety issues.
