The Importance of Humor in Comedy
I remember the early days of doing comedy bang bang and if someone was playing a character and it was just Scott and the first guest talking, people would not laugh unless they absolutely could not help themselves. Even in podcasting, people didn't laugh. And I'm glad to hear more people laughing because it's fun and it's silly and it's a throw away thing and it's not precious. It makes it feel less sterile and recorded and in a lab somewhere. That's the kind of stuff that I enjoyed when I was a kid."
