The Challenge of Getting Government to Invest More in Nature Restoration

Government investment and government policy to support this kind of work is absolutely essential. If we were to appoint you, i don't know what the role would be, if itud be the high priestess of habitats or the empress of eco systems,. butwe were to put you in government with free rein, what's the first thing you would do on day one? Er, well,  the first place to start would be to stop the rot. And next i'd focus on protecting the best - sorting out all those places er where nature is still hanging on and carbon is still being stored. Sounds pretty good.
