Is There a Direct Influence of Stoicism on Inian Philosophy?
Alexander conquered an empire stretched from macedonia and greece to india. This resulted in a lot of cross culture transmission. Alexander actuallyy had with him three philosophers that kindof went with thim to categorize indian philosophy, indian for the same as botanist or ologists woll go an classify different species. Alexander was taught by aristotle, so obviously he had a very, very good education in philosophy. But i don't think there is any real evidence for direct influence on stoicism from inian philosophy of vice versa. There wre big differences tween buddhism and soicism, but they arose independently.
