Socrates, the Dionycian, and Nitha
Socrates lays the blame at the feet of socrates in that very work. Socrates wishes us to know ourselves if we're to become virtuous, right? That's the goal of his whole philosophy, is virtue. And he has to suppress that self forgetting force for the sake of virtue - which is a laudable goal. Nitha still has very serious problems with socrates, particularly in the martyrdom of socrate.
