The Importance of Moralism
Moralism focuses on outcomes of individuals and relativism focuses on the autonomy of individuals. The gospel is not opposed to effort, God in the gospel should motivate you to try to live a life that pleases God and honors him. If you reduce the gospel message to a list of to-dos, you will have the most boring, arduous, lifeless relationship with God imaginable.
