Deep reinforcement learning is a brand new category of machine learning. Its big coming out party was around 2016 and it came out in the form of a program called AlphaGo. It went up against Lisa at all, which was one of our human grandmasters in Go. And then they built AlphaZero, which went on to beat some of our best chess grandmasters. Then they created AlphaStar, which beat our best Starcraft players. DRL can build long-term strategy like no other ML that has ever been used before.
