i think there's a defensiveness that protestants have, and i resemble this remark my entire life, in the face of the argument about unity. You know, didn't jesus pray for unity, that they all would be one? And so, yes, you go to southeast asia or alaska or new zealand or missouri, and thereigt be a different expression of the one body, so be it. But the idea that somehow there's another unifying force other than the being baptized into the death and resurrection of christ, is just a law. I mean, these are laughably superficial things.
