Is Downfall a Film About Adolf Hitler?
The voice of this film is incredibly authentic. I think it does a couple of things, which is to suggest that not everyone who fought on the German on the German side were Gung-ho nationalists. They were indoctrinated into and made to believe that military is great and war is great. It's like led into a system that really is just using them as fodder.
