Paradise of Submission by Atusi

Atusi supports the idea that God in himself remains utterly transcendent and relates to the world only through a command. He is also deployed to prove the central Ismaeli doctrine of the imam. For Atusi, Avicenna epistemology proves the possibility of such a perfectly enlightened teacher by explaining what it would mean for a human to have a completely actualized intellect. It also shows that the rest of us who are not perfect need an external teacher.
