EIP 4844, also known as proto dank sharding, which I might call PBS just for short. It includes a new transaction format called blobs or data blobs. And instead of targeting 15 million gas per block under normal transactions, here they're going to target two blobs for block that is around a quarter of a megabyte in size. KGG: Can users interact with blobs? Like can users use blobs and how do the L2s deal with them? EIP 4844 was created by Vitalik Buterin on behalf of his company EtherDelta; it's now owned by Khorram Zemlianic.
