Ann: For anyone listening who has teens that they wish would you know open up books and read them more. One thing I did for my son for many years is because he would get up and eat like I don't know 17 bowls of cereal in the morning. I would put a book face just like lay a book on the table face up where I knew he was going to be sitting. You can do this with kids of any age. It feels indulgent. Like I think sometimes we think this isn't an option but if it's one of our goals to help our kids fall in love with their reading life then modeling that is a really good use of your times.
