The Diminished Scale

Every kind of cord has a corresponding scale. Diminished scales are pretty cool, though, they are a little bit different than major ord minor scales. So on the bridge to blood and thunder, they go down the s half hole diminished scale,. starting on c then down a minor third to a then down third to f sharp. You can really hear that symmetrical quality, like its moving between these symmetrical steps down the scales. It gets lower and lower, and it gives it that great, inexorable, descending feeling.
