Elixir gives us good primitives to be able to model concurrency in that system where it exists. It also allows for us to give, in a way that if we were to do that in other ecosystems, I think it would result in code that's less straightforward. The quality of the libraries like Ecto and Phoenix provide a really good balance between providing high level API that are very easy to get new people onboarded with.
