The third thing that you can negotiate outside of base salary is your paid time off. If a company is going to get acquired, if it's going to go public at a certain point, then getting that stock can be a really great option. The fifth thing that you Can negotiate outside of your base salary is a continuing education budget. You're not going to make any money off of this if the company fails or doesn't ipo.
