One september night in two thousand and six a man left his office and walked across the vacant parking lot towards his truck. He instantly noticed that the back left of his vehicle seemed to be sagging slightly. But before he could figure out why it was doing that, he thought he saw something moving in his peripheral vision off to his left. So he turned and looked out his window into the dark night.
