How to Reduce the Waiting Time for Public Housing in Hong Kong

The government has identified sufficient number of lands for building public housing flats. The Our Hong Kong Foundation noted that more than half of the land in the first phase of the Zantin Technopole's development is privately owned. Ryan Ipp, the think tank's vice president, told Ada Our that the administration should allow landowners to convert their land and offer Technopole bonds instead of cash compensation.
