Introduction
The main stream asian american narrative has nothing to do with the vast majority of asian Americans in this country. And that includes people like my parents, who refer to themselves as corean and agientis. I don't think they've ever said they're korean American or nor and agient America is some just weird concept to them. It's an interesting book, and that it is a book that i think argues quite forcefully, i hope, against progressive identity politics.
