This episode is basically epistemology. Epistemology means the theory of knowledge. How do we know what we know? How do we sort truth from falsehood? And this turns out to be a much more practical and important subject matter then you might initially think. Most people, i would say, like 99 % of society, does not have a clue as to how beliefs actually work.
